 1) Newcomers / visitors

- Newborn Camilla, daughter of CarloZ and TatianaR => Congratulations!

2) Comments on the minutes of the previous 90th meeting + Actions

- List of Actions.

3General infos

- No particular comment from anyone.

- SL meeting:

- Marc Tavlet still looking for some volunteers for training (rescue mask etc.).

- LS1:

- Vacuum leak in PSB, but still hope that this will be solved before the planned start-up.

- Bellow leak in the LHC DFB in point 6 => Potentially worrying.

- Summary of the review of the LIU-SPS High Bandwidth Transverse Damper (30/07/2013) is available => http://indico.cern.ch/materialDisplay.py?materialId=0&confId=260522.

- SC and Impedance meetings => Discussed later.

- ManfredW has news on BSRT => Imped talk on Monday.

4) Status of the work for the internal review on the LHC performance limitations during run I (on 25-26/09/2013) => All the speakers

- Injection instabilities progressing well.

5) Brief reports of the 4 WGs (by the WG leader or replacement) => Plan, activities, deadlines, issues, etc.:

a) BB (WH):

- No particular news, ongoing work for the LHC performance review. TP looking into SMOG detector.

b) SC (FS):

- SC meeting last week => Every 2 weeks in the future: on Thursdays between 14:00 and 16:00 and most of the time in room 6-R-012.

- Planned consolidation of the PTC-ORBIT & SYNERGIA codes including a manual by the end of the year.

- MAD-X with frozen space charge is ready for usage except for some minor inconveniences.

- HarryR has managed to pin down a nasty avalanche effect killing all particles in the ORBIT part of PTC-ORBIT and he found a possible workaround. This problem is aggravated by the fact that MPI_add is not reproducible leading to particle loss in a range of some 1'000 to 2'000 turns (days of CPU time!).

- We are in the process to find out if MPI can be "taught" to do its operations in a fixed order so that strict reproducibility of the results can be enforced. It remains to be seen how much loss in MPI speed-up that will cost.

- ElenaB presented a fix to PTC such that the relevant parameters of acceleration are properly transferred to ORBIT.

c) EC (GR):

- Next EC meeting nextweek by GI on LHC triplets.

- From a recent endoscopy, there is no observed EC sign in the triplets.

d) IMPED (BS):

- See slides.

- Discussion about procedure to have the multi-bunch RF heating, temperature, stresses etc. => EM simulations needed, thermal simulations needed and mechanical simulations needed...

6) Actions to be taken for the next meeting

- Old actions.

7)  Miscellaneous

- Deadlines and important dates for ICE.

- The next (92nd) meeting will take place on 11/09/2013 => Agenda:

1) Status of the work for the internal review on the LHC performance limitations during run I (on 25-26/09/2013) => All the speakers.

- See preliminary agendas for the next meetings.

- See List of Actions.
